Billing and subscription on the phone

The billing pages of Workspace tools show what your company pays and let you make the everyday changes from the phone. Anything that takes a payment (buying or changing a plan, adding a card, buying AI credits) goes through the payment provider in the web app: the app never takes card details. Each page shows when your role may open the billing pages in the web app.

Billing sums up the Subscription, Active subscriptions, AI credits left and when Credits reset, then lists the invoices.

Plans shows your Plan, Currency and Country and what the workspace can buy. Buying a plan or changing it goes through the payment provider’s checkout on the web: Continue on the web (Buying and changing plans).

Subscriptions lists the subscriptions with their state, billing frequency, currency and next billing date. On a subscription:

  • Stop renewal stops it from renewing: “It stays active until the end of the period already paid.” You can say why (optional, up to 500 characters).
  • Resume renewal turns renewal back on.

Each asks first and is offered only when it applies. If the subscription changed since you opened it (someone else stopped it, a payment went through), the app refuses the change and shows it as it is now. Changing the plan, or switching between monthly and annual billing, is done on the web (Renewal).

Payment methods shows whether Automatic payment is on, the Next charge and when it is charged, then the saved cards and mandates, masked (no card number or security code is ever on the phone). On an active method that is not the default, Make default chooses it for automatic charges: “Use this payment method for automatic charges?” Adding a card or mandate, and removing one, are done on the web through the payment provider (Pay automatically).

Billing details shows the Billing name, Billing email, Country, Currency and Tax ID that invoices carry. Edit opens the form:

Field Rule
Billed to Required
Email, Phone An email address; a phone number
Address line 1, Address line 2, City, State or region, Postal code City and state up to 100 characters, postal code up to 20
Country code (2 letters) Two letters, such as US or IN
Tax ID (GSTIN, if applicable) Up to 30 characters

Save applies it. If someone else saved the details since you opened them, saving says so and shows what is saved now; nothing is overwritten. A value the server refuses (a state, a tax ID) shows its reason under the form.

AI credits shows the AI credits left, split into Plan credits left and Purchased credits left, and when Credits reset. The chips filter the activity by kind: Grants, Purchases, Usage, Expiry and Adjustments. Buying credits and setting automatic top-ups are done on the web (AI credits).
