Mobile app
The DataSquares Android app
The DataSquares Android app puts your workspace on your phone. Read dashboards, metrics, reports and stories, get alerts, and search everything you can open. If your role allows it, the app also has the workspace’s data, operations and administration pages under Workspace tools: check a data source, run a read-only query, invite a person, restore a deleted item or stop a subscription from renewing.
The app is for Android phones and tablets. There is no iOS app: on an iPhone, open DataSquares in the browser, where a dashboard shows its phone layout.

- Library holds everything you can open, and Search (on Home) looks through all of it.
- Notifications collects alerts that fired, mentions and items shared with you. Roles that may create alert rules also see Alert rules there.

The menu reference lists every menu and page with what it is for and who sees it.
What the phone does not do
Section titled “What the phone does not do”- Building: dashboards, models, reports, stories, presentations, pipelines and blends are made in the web app.
- Buying a plan, adding a payment method or buying AI credits goes through the payment provider on the web. The app never takes card details.
- Sign in with Microsoft is in the web app only.
- Where a page has more on the web, it says so and offers Continue on the web, which opens that page of the web app in your browser.
