Pivot Table
Data · Cross-tab with row/column groups
Added from Insert on the editor’s rail; configure it in Card settings, in its Data and Format tabs.
When to use it
Section titled “When to use it”The cross-tab: dimensions on both axes, measures in the cells — region × quarter revenue in one dense grid.
Field wells

Click a field in the Fields list, or drop it on the chart, and it goes to the well that fits it — see where a field goes. To choose the well yourself, drop the field on it or use its + Add field.
Measure wells carry a quick-calc dropdown (running total, YoY %, % of total, …); SquareX measures are listed with the fields, under Measures.
Format options that matter here

- Add More row levels and More column levels in hierarchy order. Expanding groups loads deeper levels; subtotals recalculate the measure rather than adding averages or distinct counts.
- Public shares and older clients can show only the first level. See hierarchy interaction and scope.
- Hierarchy exports distinguish bounded full data capture from image downloads of the visible window. CSV is raw; supported server report formats retain measure formats and cell visuals.
