100% Stacked Area
Trend · Composition share over time
Added from Insert on the editor’s rail; configure it in Card settings, in its Data and Format tabs.
When to use it
Section titled “When to use it”Bands stacked to a full 100% at every time bucket — the chart for how the mix shifted, independent of whether the total grew or shrank. “Mobile went from a third of traffic to two thirds” is exactly this chart.
Field wells

Click a field in the Fields list, or drop it on the chart, and it goes to the well that fits it — see where a field goes. To choose the well yourself, drop the field on it or use its + Add field.
Measure wells carry a quick-calc dropdown (running total, YoY %, % of total, …); SquareX measures are listed with the fields, under Measures.
- Because every column is normalized, a shrinking segment can still mean growing absolute numbers — say which you mean, or pair it with a total.
