Parquet Files
You connect Parquet Files from the DataSquares connection wizard. Upload a .parquet file — decoded in memory and staged as a table.

In DataSquares, open Data Sources and choose Connect Source. The Connect a data source page opens.

Pick Parquet Files on that page (search or browse by category).

Name the source, choose the file, then choose Upload & Create.
Uploading the file
Section titled “Uploading the file”Pick Parquet Files on the Connect a data source page and upload your file — no credentials needed. The file is decoded in memory and staged as a table. Every compression codec but LZO is read (Snappy, ZSTD, GZIP, Brotli, LZ4), and values keep their precision: a decimal its scale and a 64-bit integer every digit (nested values too, as JSON). A timestamp carries a time zone only when the column is adjusted to UTC and is stored to the microsecond (one adjusted to UTC to the millisecond); text is stored with leading and trailing spaces trimmed.
