Comparison · Compare categories; long labels read well

Added from the Insert tab; configure it in the card’s Data and Format tabs.

Horizontal bars are the workhorse for comparing categories — especially with long category names, which stay readable where a column chart would rotate them. Sort by value and the ranking jumps out.

Values (Y) measures multiple measures = multiple series; each has a quick-calc dropdown
Series / Color dimension splits each value into one series per category value

Tooltip fields extra fields shown on hover

Measure wells carry a quick-calc dropdown (running total, YoY %, % of total, …); SquareX measures drop in like any field.

  • Top N with an “Others” bucket
  • data labels (inside/outside)
  • conditional formatting rules
  • reference lines (average, target)
